Paint Your Inner Warrior

Description

Find your strength and resilience to move through the loss of a child with painting. Artist and teacher Joyce Merrick will help you express your grief through painting when words may have failed you, regardless of previous artistic experience.

Inspired by her own personal experiences after losing her daughter, Joyce now shares her miraculous journey with others, helping you move through your own losses with love and creative expression.

Nurtured by the beautiful mountain landscape and your expert guide, you will discover the qualities of the hero and reflect on those attributes within yourself. Through journaling and painting, you will tap into your courage and resilience using the Intentional Creativity process called Smash Booking, developed by Catt Geller.

In this creative healing retreat, you will:

  • Create a beautiful painting of your very own creation
  • Celebrate the joy of honoring and releasing emotions through journaling
  • Experience a renewed sense of courage and resilience toward your own healing
  • Cultivate a deeper understanding of the hero’s journey through grief
  • Explore painting as a way to soothe feelings of hopelessness
You’ll leave with a sense of creative expression through painting where words may have failed you and a meaningful painting of your own creation to support you on your journey.

This offering is a painting class for those who have lost a child. No artistic experience necessary.
